This week I did the activity for finding words with the same root word as portable (port). It was unbelievable the amount of words I found. I also really liked the strategy CSSR. I see myself using this in the future to help my students with unknown words.
I like this as well and I will try and use this in some of my classes as well.

ReplyDeleteI love the CSSR strategy. The lesson I actually taught was on text features, so this is a great strategy to use when the students don't know a word that they come to while reading.
