I am leaning toward doing my lesson plans as an integrated unit and including many of the different subject areas while incorporating reading and the different strategies lined out for us on page 51.
Loving your background! Your lesson plan idea is bold, but it has brought experienced teachers to their knees. You may want to consider, for your first plan, one content. Next time make it two contents, and so on...
That is a great idea and I can not wait to see how you integrate all the lessons together and I know it is a big idea but I believe that you can make it work.
I think that using your 10 lessons, pulled together as a unit plan is an awesome idea. Each lesson could have it own content area focus but all the lessons would have a theme/ idea. Neat idea. I go in to observe with my cooperating teacher tomorrow and she says she has so much to show me with what her students are doing- excited to have ideas to pull from :-)

ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea. It will help you set up the 10 lesson plans a lot faster with being able to use the variety of different subjects.
