Take away from last class
I was a big fan with all the activities we participated in in class. My favorite one was the email she sent us and we each were a different person and we had to decide what details were valuable in our line of work. It made me realize that there are many different ways that different students can look at the same text or story. We need to be able to provide diverse strategies to help all students achieve the same goal.

I enjoyed that activity as well. It was interesting to hear what everyone found important to them with the title they were given.

ReplyDeletethe perspectives that each student could have on each story that is read can each be very different, and I agree that the emailed activity in class taught us that. I believe it is important to allow the students to then take part in discussion after reading, to help make sure the text was understood or to see the different perspectives of the text....
I could not agree more about it being exciting and fun all at the same time. I agree again about how different types of learners students can be.
